Training Facilities and Equipment

NWOCA offers training for teachers, administrators and support staff employed by school districts who subscribe to NWOCA services.

Training is Free to schools that subscribe to Ed Tech Services from NWOCA.

Training for Schools who only use NWOCA for Internet Access is available for $20 per session.

NWOCA offers free one-on-one training for staff of member districts.Our Resource Visits page has more information on this service.

Want some help with teaching technology to your students? NWOCA's Educational Technologists will come and teach your class how to use programs like PowerPoint and iMovie.

NWOCA has a Macintosh Mobile Lab available for use free by Member schools.

NWOCA offers classes in modern training facilities at both our Archbold and Perrysburg locations.Attendees can choose between the latest in Windows and Macintosh workstations.

All computers have video editing capabilities using the latest Firewire and iLink capabilities. Up to date software including Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop, iMovie, Final Cut Pro and FileMaker Pro. See our current training schedule for more information on the classes offered and times.

Both locations have Video Conferencing ability. The west training center is also the IMAGInet studio with extensive equipment for video conferencing and video content broadcasting.

Member Districts and Internet Only Schools

Please note, Internet Only School personnel should seek permission to attend training before registering for classes. NWOCA will bill any schools directly for any fees charged for teachers attending training.
