 09.13.16Chrome Internet Browser / Apps & Extensions: Google Chrome is so much more than just a browser and a search engine. Learn how to customize your Chrome experience by creating your own profile, customizing searches, create and manage bookmarks, and search history. We will visit Google’s Web Store and search for free apps and extensions.3:10 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
 09.20.16Gmail / Google Drive: As you will discover, Gmail is much more than Email.  With unlimited storage, you can save EVERYTHING.  Because of this, it is even more important to keep your messages organized.  Today’s Gmail session centers around the theme of ORGANIZATION. We will discuss Gmail tools to help you stay organized and work more efficiently. At the center of Google Apps is your gDrive.  Drive is unlimited cloud-based storage that promotes sharing of files.  Learn how to upload, convert and organize your files. 3:10 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
10.04.16Google Drive / Docs: Google Drive review. Google Docs is an online word processor.  The main feature of this application is being able to collaborate with others in real time.  During this class, we will focus on sharing, editing, commenting and collaborating.  We will explore how to add functionality to Docs by adding add-ons, tools designed by third-party developers.  3:10 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.  
 10.05.16Introduction to Google Classroom:  This session is for a true beginner; someone who has not created a Classroom, yet. Google Classroom is a blended learning platform that simplifies creating, sharing, and grading assignments in a paperless way. After being introduced to Google Classroom, you will practice adding students, creating discussions, and posting homework assignments.  We will emphasize assignment flow.  We will explore all aspects of the assignment feature plus learn how assignments are submitted, graded, and returned… all without printing. Advancing Google Classroom: This session is geared toward the teacher who is already using Google Classroom. We will continue to build on your Classroom skills to increase productivity and student engagement. We will explore new features and different ways to extend Classroom. 8:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
11.02.16 Google Forms & Sheets: Do you want to collect information quickly from students, staff members, and / or parents? Google Forms is a powerful tool for creating surveys, web input forms, quizzes, and interactive lessons. Forms data is collected in a Google Sheet. We will become acclimated navigating in Sheets and learn how to easily manipulate data.  8:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.

Google Slides: 
Google Slides is a presentation program that helps you create a digital presentation with ease. You can crate linear and nonlinear slides, publish to Web, and have access to Google's collaboration tools that we all love.

 12.06.16Google Calendar: Being organized and staying on task has never been so easy! Google Calendar allows you to create multiple calendars with different sharing settings. We will explore how to leverage Google Calendar as a way to communicate homework assignments to students and parents, create appointment slots for parent-teacher conferences, share educational resources, and much more!  3:10 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
 12.07.16Google Drawings: You do not need to be an artist or have a creative bone in your body to create a Google Drawing. Learn how to create graphic organizers, interactive handouts, comic strips, timelines, posters, and GIFs. We will explore ways to use Drawings in the classroom as an interactive whiteboard and a tool to annotate images.  8:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
 12.13.16Google Sites: Google Sites is a web page creation tool that is ideal for a department or team to design a functional site collaboratively or for a teacher to create a classroom site. Google Sites is a great way to communicate with parents, staff, and community.  3:10 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Each session will be project based that will incorporate skills introduced earlier in the year as well as exploring new features. Staff will select a G Suite for Education session to attend including: Docs, Sheets, Slides & Drawings, Forms, and Sites. You will have an opportunity to attend FOUR sessions.  8:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
 02.07.17Google Classroom Review: We will combine both groups to review Classroom features by participating in two Kahoot! quiz games. Get your game face on!! And, get ready to challenge your colleagues with your Classroom knowledge!! 3:10 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
 02.21.17Kahoot! Make Learning Awesome: Kahoot!'s tagline says it all! Kahoot! is a collection of questions on a specific topic. Questions are asked in real-time to "players" who record answers on their own devices. It creates a fun, game-like experience for students. Teachers can create their own Kahoot! or use questions created by another Kahoot! user. 3:10 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

 04.25.17Facilitated Work Session: This PD time is designated for teachers to work on a specific project or lesson using G Suite for Education apps. Instructors will be available for questions.  3:10 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
 05.03.17G Suite for Education: In response to the google form survey we did on 4/25 your choices are Docs, Slides & Drawings, Forms, and Sites in addition we have added a session on Google Maps/Google Hangouts and Chat. 8:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
 05.23.17How to Use QR Codes: We will take a look at those funny square bar codes and learn how to use the in the classroom. We will create QR codes using Google URL shortener and explore useful and fun ways to use them in the classroom environment. 3:10 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
