Rules and Notifications

If you fail to show up for a class:

You must notify NWOCA if you will not be attending (3 days notice) If you fail to notify NWOCA, your Superintendent will be notified of your failure to attend. Districts who have more than 3 no-shows per semester will be charged $50 per session for subsequent sessions missed.

Emergency cancelations are exempt from this rule. Please try and let us know in plenty of time that you will not be able to attend the class. This gives us time to contact people on waiting lists to see if they would stilll like to attend.

If you do not receive confirmation email :

Your email address is probably incorrectly entered.

Send email to mpleydell@nwoca.org or call 1-800-472-5475 x 2541 we will edit the email address to ensure that you are sent cancelation and reminder messages.

If a class is canceled

If insufficient registrations are received then the class may be canceled. Most classes will be held if 5 or more register. Make sure you check your email at least a week before the class to make sure it is still being held. Automatic caneellation notices are sent 10 days prior to the class.

Automated Reminders

If you do not receive an automated reminder that you signed up for the class 5 days before the class your email mpleydell@nwoca.org to check to see the class has not been canceled.
