Teacher Training
The NWOCA Instructional services staff are available to come
to your distict and provide free training to member district staff
in any of the training sessions that are offered on our training schedule.
A full list of classes available for you to choose from can be found
by clicking the Course Descriptions button above.
You can also download a PDF version of the Basics
for Teachers which explains the basics sessions in more detail.
Recent series of classes have been held at Otsego, Central Local
and Delta School districts. Teachers took part in a series of classes
that cover the basics of computer use for teachers. CEU credits are
available for LPDC.
Student Training
Our
staff are also available to teach or team-teach classes to students.
Many teachers have benefited from a NWOCA Educational Technologist
coming into their classroom and teaching students how to use programs
such as PowerPoint and iMovie to enhance their learning.
